Moxo’s Outlook integration streamlines communication by automating essential email tasks, enhancing efficiency and personalization. This automation allows businesses to trigger emails based on specific actions, such as confirming a sale or acknowledging a payment. By enabling personalized email triggers and template-based responses, this automation becomes a helpful tool for managing updates via email.

Adding the Outlook Automation to a Flow Template or Instant Flow:
- Open the flow builder and navigate to where the automation will be added.

Adding Outlook Automation to a Live Flow:
- Open the relevant flow workspace.
- Click the '...' ellipses icon.
- Select + Add New Action from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down and select Automations under Control.
- Identify where the automation should be added, then click + Add Here.
Configuring Outlook Automation
Step 1: App and Event Setup
- Choose Outlook as the app.
- Set the event to Send a Mail via Outlook.
- Click Next to proceed.
Step 2: Account Setup
- Click Choose to select an existing Outlook account you have added in Moxo.
- If no account is linked, click + Connect a new account and follow the prompts to add a new Outlook account.
- Once the account is selected, click Next to proceed.
Step 3: Add Inputs
- Enter the recipient's email address (the email will be sent after the relevant action is completed).
- Specify the Subject of the email.
- Type your message as required.
- Use the enhanced DDR capability to autofill data dynamically from previous actions, workspace details, or other inputs.
- After completing the inputs, click Next.
- Click Add Automation to finalize the process.
The Outlook automation will now be triggered after the designated action. When the client or assigned member completes the preceding action, the automated email will be sent via Outlook, guiding them to the next action or providing necessary reminders.
Editing the Outlook Automation
- Navigate to the flow template or live flow workspace containing the automation.
- Hover over the automation you want to modify.
- Click the 'Edit' icon.
- Adjust the app, event, account, or input fields as needed.
- Click Save Changes to apply the updates.
Automations can only be edited in saved flow templates or live flow workspaces if the automation is incomplete. Once completed, the automation cannot be reopened or modified.
Best Practices
- Pre-configure accounts for a smoother setup experience.
