Zoho and Moxo

The Moxo-Zoho CRM integration enables businesses to seamlessly sync all client activity from Moxo directly into their Zoho CRM. With this connector, key interactions - including messages, file sharing, meetings, e-signatures, and annotations - are automatically logged, ensuring your Zoho CRM remains up to date. 

With this integration, every interaction a client has within Moxo is automatically recorded in Zoho under their contact record. This ensures a complete, real-time log of client activity, making it easier for businesses to track engagement history, manage client relationships, and meet record-keeping standards with confidence.

  • Automatic Logging: All client interactions in Moxo - including messages, meetings, e-signatures, and more - are automatically recorded in Zoho. 
  • Syncing: A daily sync ensures that all Moxo activity is reflected in Zoho and kept current.
  • Client Matching: Moxo uses client email addresses to match activity to the correct contact in Zoho for accurate and consistent logging. 

 

Prerequisites and Setup

Before using this integration, you'll need to make sure you have the following: 

  • Administrative access to the Moxo Admin portal
  • A Zoho CRM admin account to generate the required credentials
  • A basic understanding of API authentication

To set up your Zoho integration: 

  1. Log in to the Moxo Admin portal.
  2. From the left-side menu, go to Connectors.
  3. In the list of available connectors, find and select Zoho.
  4. Click Setup to begin the configuration process. 
  5. Enter key information to proceed with the connection. 
    • Configure Sync Settings
      • Choose Sync Time: The daily sync time determines when Moxo will automatically push activity from the previous 24 hours into Zoho. All relevant updates will be logged under the client's contact based on their email match. 
    • Connection Details
      • Data Center Location: Select the region associated with your Zoho account.

  6. Next, you'll need to retrieve three credentials from your Zoho developer console to complete the connection: the Client ID, Client Secret, and Authorization Code.
    • Generate Zoho Credentials
      1. Go to the Zoho API Console.
      2. Login with your Zoho admin account. 
      3. Under the OAuth tab, create a new self-client.



      4. Once the self-client is created, navigate to the Client Secret tab and copy the Client ID and Client Secret into the Moxo Admin portal.



      5. Go to the Generate Code tab and select the following: 
        • Scope: ZohoCRM.modules.ALL
        • Time Duration: 10 minutes
        • Select your Zoho production organization to link with Moxo.
      6. Click Create to generate the Authorization Code, and paste it into the corresponding field in Moxo before it expires. 
  7. Once you have filled in all necessary details and configured your settings, click Save Changes to finalize the integration. 

 

Moxo Zoho Integration Sync

With the integration complete, the daily sync will run at your chosen time. It will fetch updates from workspaces over the part 24 hours and log them in Zoho under the associated contact.

Moxo uses the client's email to find the corresponding record in Zoho. If a match is found, the activity is logged accordingly. 

 

Activity Log in Zoho

After each sync, you'll be able to vide a complete record of Moxo activity directly within Zoho with the following steps:

  1. Open the relevant contact's record in Zoho. 
  2. Navigate to the Notes section to see activities logged from Moxo.
  3. Click More to explore detailed entries, including: 
    • Workspace interactions
    • Links to uploaded documents or files
    • E-signatures and annotations
    • Video recordings, where applicable
