Integrate Flow Status Updates to Hubspot via Zapier

Using Zapier, you can automatically send updates from your Moxo Flows to other systems like Hubspot.

This article will guide you through the process of setting up this Zapier integration. In this step-by-step guide, we'll set up a Zap to automatically update a Hubspot field when a Moxo onboarding flow is fully completed.

Please note that to configure this automation, you’ll need to make sure the Flow Workspace is also kicked off from your Hubspot.

Configure the Zap

Step 1: Sign Up and Log In to Zapier

If you haven't already, sign up for a Zapier account. Once logged in, you'll be taken to the dashboard, where you'll create your Zap.

Step 2: Create a New Zap

Click on the Make a Zap button located at the top left corner of the dashboard to start creating a new Zap.

Step 3: Set Up Moxo as the Trigger App

In the Zap editor:

  1. Search and select Moxo as the trigger app.
  2. Select the trigger event. In this case, choose Flow Updates as the event that initiates the Zap.
  3. Follow the prompts to connect your Moxo account to Zapier. You'll need to authorize Zapier to access your Moxo data.
  4. Once your Moxo account is connected, under the trigger section, choose the Flow Template name. Every flow workspace originating from this template will be triggered.
  5. Choose the trigger level. In this example, choose the flow as the trigger level.
  6. Under Status, choose what status you want your zap to trigger. If left empty, it will trigger for all available status. In this example, choose the status as Completed.
  7. Test your Trigger.

Step 4: Set Up Action - Hubspot

Next, select Hubspot as the Action App.

  1. Choose Update Deal as the action event for Hubspot.
  2. Continue with the connected Hubspot account.
  3. Use the Reference ID of Moxo for the Object ID since in the last automation, we used the Deal ID as the reference ID in Moxo. Select the field that you want to update, and set up the value.
  4. Test your action.

Step 5: Name and Activate Your Zap

  1. Give your Zap a name that clearly describes its function, making it easier to identify in your Zapier dashboard.
  2. Activate your Zap. Once activated, your Zap will run automatically in the background based on the triggers and actions you've set up.

Step 6: Monitor and Troubleshoot

Regularly check the Zap's activity log in Zapier to ensure that files from Moxo Flow are consistently being added to your Google Drive folder as expected.

If you encounter any issues or unexpected behavior, revisit the Zap settings to make adjustments and troubleshoot the problem.

Conclusion

By setting up this Zap using Zapier, you've automated the process of updating your deal record when a contact completes their onboarding process.
