The Stripe action integration streamlines client payments across Flow, Group, and 1:1 Workspaces, enabling secure, embedded transactions for services, subscriptions, and one-time fees.
Adding a Stripe Action to a Flow Template or an Instant Flow
- Open the Flow Builder and navigate to where the Stripe action will be added.
- Drag and drop Stripe from the left-hand panel under Integrations, or click the '+' button between steps in the Flow and select Stripe.
Integrating the Stripe Action
- In the Stripe configuration menu, click +Connect a new account.
- Log in to Stripe and authorize Moxo to access your account.
- Fill out the action details:
- Title*: Enter a title for the action shown in the workspace.
- Description: Add relevant details explaining the purpose of the payment action. Leverage DDR by clicking the '{.}' autofill icon to pull data from previous actions or workspace metadata.
- Additional Options: When configuring the Stripe action in the Flow builder, you can toggle on Skip Sequential Order to allow it to be completed in parallel with the previous step.
- Select the role responsible for completing this action. Either chose from existing roles or create a new role using + Add Role.
- Click Next and fill in the checkout details shown in Stripe:
- Name*: Enter the name of the product or service that the payment is being collected for.
- Product/Service Description: Add a description of the product or service being paid for.
- Amount*: Enter the amount to be collected.
- Currency*: Select the appropriate currency from the dropdown menu.
- Click Next, view the preview, then click Add to insert the Stripe action into the workspace.
Editing a Stripe Action
In a Live Workspace:
- Navigate to a live workspace with an existing, integrated Stripe action.
- Click on the Stripe action, click on the "..." ellipses icon, and select Edit Content.
- Select Edit on the pop-up menu to proceed.
- Edit the title, description, or due date as needed. Select Preview to view the edits, or click Save Changes to confirm them.
In a Flow Template:
- Open the Flow Template where the Stripe action exists and click Edit.
- Update the action title, description, or due date as needed. Select Preview to view the edits, or click Save Changes to confirm them.
Only the Stripe action's title, description, and due date can be edited. If you need to modify other details (e.g. product or service title, amount, currency), you'll need to create a new Stripe action.
Assignee Experience
- Navigate to the Stripe action in the workspace.
- To preview the payment details, click Review in a Flow Workspace, or click Waiting on Your Input in a Group or 1:1 Workspace.
- Click Pay to open a secure, Stripe-hosted checkout page in a separate window.
- On the checkout page, fill in the following details:
- Card information
- Cardholder name
- Country or region
- Click Pay to complete the transaction.
On the left side of the checkout page, the assignee will see the product or service name and description, payment amount, and currency, as configured in the Stripe action setup.
