Yoti Action

Moxo's Yoti action allows you to initiate identity verification, liveness checks, and face match authentication directly inside a Moxo workspace. The results are automatically captured, ensuring compliance and security are seamlessly integrated into your workflows. Whether it’s for client onboarding, KYC, or secure document verification, the Yoti action helps organizations streamline identity-driven processes.

 

Adding a Yoti Action to a Flow Template

  1. Click the ‘...’ icon in the Flow Workspace and select + Add New Action.


     
  2. From the pop-up box scroll down to the Integrations section. If Jotform is already configured, click on it. If not, click on More Integrations and add Jotform.


     
  3. Choose the position where you want to add the Yoti action and click + Add Here.

 

 

Adding a Yoti Action to a Flow Template

  1. In the Flow Builder, locate the step where Yoti should be inserted.
  2. Go to the Integrations section. If Yoti is already configured, click on it. If not, click on More Integrations and add Yoti.


     
  3. Drag and drop Yoti from the left-hand control panel, or click the "+" icon between action steps and select Yoti.
     

 

Adding a Yoti Action to a Group or 1:1 Workspace

  1. Click on the “+” icon next to the chat space and select Integrations.
  2. If Yoti is already configured, click on it. If not, click on More Integrations and add Yoti from the available integrations.

 

Configuring the Yoti Action

  1. Navigate to the Flow Template Builder.
  2. On the left-hand side panel go to Integrations.
  3. Select More Integrations.
  4. If your account is already connected to Yoti, then simply drag and drop the Yoti action into your Flow.
  5. If you are using the Yoti action for the first time, locate Yoti from the list, and click Add to connect to your Yoti account. Then enter the required credentials from the Yoti platform:
    • Name
    • Private Key
    • SDK Client ID
  6. Click Connect. Once connected, configure the action details:
    • Title*: Provide a title for the action.
    • Description: Add context for what verification is being performed.
    • Due Date: Set a preset timeline or configure a custom action due date.
      • Users can exclude weekends when setting due dates for actions. When enabled, weekends will be skipped in the calculation of due dates, ensuring that deadlines fall only on weekdays.
    • Toggle Skip Sequential Order if this action can be completed in parallel with the previous step.
    • Assignee/Who needs to complete this? – Define who needs to complete the action.
  7. Click Next to select Session Settings.
  8. Set:
    • Timeout per session: Set how long the verification link remains valid.
    • Check Type: Select the verification level:
      • Document Verification
      • Document Verification + Face Match
      • Document Verification + Liveness
      • Document Verification + Face Match + Liveness
    • File Type: Choose how documents can be submitted:
      • Camera and Upload
      • Camera Only
  9. Once all details are configured, click Next, then Add.

 

Managing the Yoti Action

In a Flow Workspace:

  1. Click the Yoti action in the Flow.


     
  2. Select the ellipses ‘...’ icon for options to Edit, Mark as Completed, or Delete.

In a Template:

  1. Hover over the Yoti action.
  2. Select Edit, Duplicate, or Delete.

Send reminders manually:

  1. Navigate to the pending action.
  2. Click the ‘...’ icon next to the assignee.
  3. Select Send Reminder. A timestamp of the last reminder will appear if you have already sent a reminder.


     

 

Assignee Experience

When a user is assigned a Yoti action, they will experience it as a seamless part of the Flow. Notifications appear in the interaction panel when an action is assigned.

To complete the Yoti action:

  1. Click on the Yoti action assigned or select Review and click on Verify.
  2. Follow the steps depending on the configuration.
  3. Once verification is complete, the Yoti action will automatically be marked as completed inside the workspace.

 

Best Practices

  • Credentials Setup: Always retrieve the correct Private Key and SDK Client ID from your Yoti portal to avoid integration failures.
  • Verification Type Selection: Choose the right level of check (document-only vs. document and liveness) based on compliance requirements.
  • Session Timeout: Adjust the session duration to balance user convenience with security.
  • Testing: Run a test verification before assigning the action to ensure the integration is working correctly.
