You can start a meeting immediately from a workspace, or from the Calendar.
Start a Meeting from a Workspace
- Select the workspace through which you want to start the meeting.
- Click on the Meetings section, which is to the right of the Chat section.
- Click Meet Now.
- You’ll now see another screen with video and participant options.

- Video: You can choose to have your video turned on when joining the meeting by toggling the switch next to Video to ‘On’.
- Virtual Backgrounds: Click on the small arrow next to the "Start Video" icon to open a drop down menu. Choose from the available options to either Blur your background or leverage a virtual background that suits your needs.

- Participants: Add participants to the meeting by typing their name or email address and selecting from the dropdown menu that appears. To remove a participant, click the X next to their name.

When you start an ad-hoc meeting from within a workspace, it automatically includes all the workspace participants. You can manually remove any of the participants before scheduling the meeting by clicking the 'X' next to the name.
- Click Start at the bottom of the screen.
Start a Meeting from the Calendar
Only internal users can start meetings via this option.
- To access the Calendar, click Calendar under Tools in the Manage tab.
- Select Start Meeting.
- This will open a popup. You can choose to have your video turned on when joining the meeting by toggling the switch next to Video to ‘On’.
- Click Start at the bottom of the popup.
