In Moxo, you can either create a Flow workspace from a template or create a non-templated workspace, known as an Instant flow workspace, on the fly.
Templated workspaces start with a pre-defined series of actions in the Flow section and an optional welcome message.
Non-Templated, or Instant Flow workspaces, start as blank, or empty workspaces and are built on the go. You can create this workspace without assigning users to each role. Users can be assigned to a role later on once the workspace is live and when a specific action needs to be completed.
Create a Workspace from a Template
There are two ways to create a workspace from a template - from +New in the top navigation bar, or by selecting Flow Workspace Templates from the Library.
From the +New button:
- Click on +New in the top right of your portal.
- Select New Flow Workspace.
- Hover over one of your existing templates and click Use.
If you don’t have any existing templates, create a template first.
From the Templates section in the Library:
- Click on Library in the top navigation bar.
- Then click Flow Workspace under the Templates tab in the left side menu.
- Hover over one of your templates in the Flow Workspace Templates section and click Use.

Create a New Instant Flow Workspace
To create a instant non-templated flow workspace:
- Click on +New in the top right of your portal.
- Select Flow Workspace.
3. Then click New Flow Workspace.
4. Invite users to participate in the Flow Workspace. Alternatively, you can also add Roles as
placeholders for real users and invite a user to each role after launching the workspace.
5. Fill in the details for each participant, like Full Name and Email Address. Additionally add a role
for each participant by clicking Add Role.
6. When inviting users, you can also send a more personalized experience by customizing the
invitation message they receive via email or mobile. If adding a user who is already on your
portal, search by name and select them from the drop down. When adding a new user to the
Flow Workspace directly, enter their Full Name and Email Address.
7. Click on the ellipsis '...' icon next to the user's name.
8. Select Customize Invitation from the dropdown menu.
9. Add a personalized message that will be included in the invitation, as mentioned in step 6.
10. After writing your message, you can Preview the email by clicking on the 'eye' icon or delete.
11. If you wish to edit, click on the ellipsis '...' icon and select Reset Content.
12. Add other participants based on needs.
13. Then click Next to send a customized invitation to the client, customer, or vendor.
The Flow Builder
- Next, use the Drag and drop Actions from the left panel to build out your process in a Flow.
- Then click Next when done.
- Add a workspace name based on the process you are working on, add a welcome message, and choose a cover image and icon image to customize the flow workspace further.
In an instant flow workspace, or a non-templated flow workspace, you can create roles for tasks without assigning them to specific users in the portal. You can add users to each role when the actions are ready to be completed.
