Transfer Work

Transfer Work is designed to ensure seamless transitions of client accounts and ongoing projects when an employee leaves or changes roles. This essential tool transfers all client interactions, tasks, and relevant data to another user, maintaining continuity in client relationships and enhancing data integrity. By minimizing disruptions, Transfer Work safeguards your business continuity when internal changes take place.

To transfer work of an internal user:

  1. Click Admin in the top tool bar.
  2. A new window will automatically open taking you into the Admin portal.

  3. Inside the Admin portal, click on the Internal Users tab in the left side menu.
  4. Click on the ellipsis ‘...’ icon to the right of the user whose work you wish to transfer.

  5. Click on Transfer Work from the drop down menu. A side panel will pop up on the right.
  6. Choose the work you would like to transfer:
    1. Transfer All Work: Select All to transfer all of your work, including workspaces, workspace templates, and content library folders.
    2. Transfer Specific Items: Select individual workspaces, workspace templates, or content library folders to transfer only those items.
    3. Once you've made your selection, click Continue to proceed with the transfer.

  1. On the following screen, if you've opted to transfer specific items, choose the individual workspaces, templates, or content library folders you wish to transfer. Then, select the user to whom you want to transfer them. If you've chosen to transfer the entire work, simply select the user for the transfer. Click Transfer.

All actions previously assigned to the user will automatically be reassigned to the new user.

The new user will be seamlessly added to the selected workspaces, and the previous user will be automatically removed from those workspaces.

In the case of transferring a specific content library folder, the new user will become the folder’s owner. However, the individual owners of the files within that folder will remain unchanged.
